Hoyist offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on 2 and 3 years billing only for these services:
Shared Hosting, Web Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Master Reseller Hosting, Alpha Reseller Hosting, and all CMS Hosting.
Refunds are allowed only once per client. Buying more services or accounts won’t give extra refunds. Even if you buy more, no refund, but service continues.
At Hoyist, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and customer satisfaction. If you experience any issue with our hosting services, we aim to resolve it within 72 working hours. If we are unable to do so, you are entitled to a refund based on the policy outlined below.
If a user creates multiple accounts and is found, refund requests will be denied. Only one refund per client, no exceptions.
Exclusions & Limitations:
Non-Refundable Charges:
Setup fees are never refundable, no matter the reason.
Extra services and add-ons like WHMCS licenses (including upgrades), domain registrations or transfers, dedicated IPs, and special software licenses (e.g., LiteSpeed for VPS or others not listed) are also not refundable. If the company gave you something special and offered a refund before the purchase only, then you can ask for a refund; refund might be possible.

Refunds are denied if:

You break Terms of Service, causing account termination.

You bought VPS, Dedicated Servers, IP add-ons, or extra services; these are always non-refundable.

Coupon or discount-based promotional payments are non-refundable under any billing cycle. If you use a coupon for hosting or domain orders, your payment will not be refundable under any circumstance.
Inadmissible Refund Reasons:
Refunds will not be given for:

Mistakes made by the user in purchase.

Not understanding how to use services (cPanel, RDP, etc.).

Change of mind after buying.

Expecting something different than what was selected. Use live chat before purchase to clarify.

No refund if you buy but never use the service and then ask for money back.

No refunds on domain registration once paid, even if order is canceled or hosting refunded. Domain fees stay, even if pending. If domain spelling is wrong, you must confirm carefully. Contact support quickly to try a correction, but changes are not guaranteed.

If we migrate your WordPress or web hosting, no refund requests will be accepted. Refunds won’t be processed after migration.

Complaints about download or upload speeds; these depend on outside factors beyond Hoyist control.

Credits account funds are not allowed to be asked for a refund.

There are no refunds on managed: reseller hosting, master reseller hosting, alpha reseller hosting plans.
Note: If you apply a promo code during checkout, your service becomes non-refundable even if it qualifies for the regular policy; it will become non-refundable if you use a promo code.
Only your first hosting order is eligible for a refund. Renewals are strictly non-refundable.
Multiple accounts managed by the same person are not eligible for a refund.
You must be a new customer and not an existing or past customer of DotShift.
Your service must not have been abused or misused (refer to our policies on CPU, Bandwidth, Disk Usage, and Account Security).
You must not have initiated a dispute or chargeback with your payment provider.
Any payment gateway or transaction fees incurred are non-refundable.
If you claimed a free domain during signup, the actual cost of the domain will be deducted from your refund.
For plans with billing cycles of 3 months or more, the used duration will be deducted from your refund.
Please note that we do not provide refunds for VPS (Virtual Private Servers) or Dedicated Server purchases. Proceed with your purchase carefully, as these services are non-refundable. Server licenses are also non-refundable.
Furthermore, we do not offer refunds on DMCA, phishing, or offshore hosting plans, so please be careful on these points.
Fees On Refunds
No refunds on checkout fees. If you request a refund, those fees will be deducted twice to cover payment processing costs.
As a reseller, if you migrate to us and request a refund, you can—but a $4 fee per account applies. If fees exceed your total payment, then you will not qualify for a refund.
If you post false reviews or spread misleading information about the company, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account. In such cases, refunds will not be issued.
Others
Domains that host phishing or abusive content will be suspended by the registrar. We are not responsible for such suspensions. As per our terms, domains are non-refundable if suspended for these reasons.
Please note that all listed domain prices are for standard domains, not premium domains. As we are currently in our beta stage, we do not have a tool to check for premium domains. If the domain you selected is identified as a premium domain, we will promptly inform you and offer a refund or account credit, based on your preference.
Domain registrations are non-refundable. However, if you register a free domain with any of our hosting plans, and decide to cancel the hosting plan, a partial refund will be issued. The cost of the domain will be deducted from this refund. We strive to deliver domains promptly, but in the rare case we are unable to provide a domain within 72 hours, we will issue a full refund for the domain purchase.
If you register the same domain somewhere else and then ask for a refund, your order will be canceled, and a $10 fee will be charged. The rest amount will be added as funds in your Hoyist account to purchase services like web hosting.
Service Cancellation and Refunds
If Hoyist cancels a service, a refund will be issued according to our internal policies, provided that no terms of service have been violated. However, if you breach our terms and conditions, such as engaging in abuse or misuse, we reserve the right to withhold any refund.
Our staff reserve the right to cancel your service if you exhibit inappropriate behavior towards our support team, including using abusive language or sharing negative comments, such as defamatory reviews or statements that harm Hoyist's reputation. In such cases, we will provide a 3-day notice period during which you can take a backup of your data.
After this backup period, your service will be terminated, with or without refund depending on the circumstances. We value maintaining a respectful environment, and if you are dissatisfied with our service, we prefer not to continue the relationship.
Operational & Technical Considerations:

Downtime or technical issues are not valid reasons for refunds.

Refunds won’t be given for emotional or random requests, like using service for 29 days then demanding refund.

If client buys and does not use service, then buys elsewhere, that’s their choice with no refund.

Plans cannot be downgraded within 30 days; no refunds allowed during this time.

Domain Registration Terms & Conditions:
No Refunds on Domains:
Domain purchases are final. No refunds or cancellations after payment.
Incorrect Domain Spelling & Availability:
If you type a wrong domain name or domain is taken by someone else, no refund will be given. Buyer must check details carefully before payment.
Reordering the Same Domain Extension:
If domain is unavailable, you can order again with the same extension, but no refund or credit for previous payment.
No Credit Transfers or Adjustments:
Payments for domains cannot be used for other services like hosting or VPS. You cannot pay extra to fix wrong domain purchase.
By buying a domain, you agree to these terms. Double-check before ordering.
EPP Code Request Policy:
To transfer your domain, you need an EPP (Authorization) code.
There is a fixed fee for this, shown on the request page.
By asking for EPP code, you accept the fee.
Domain Registrations/Renewal:
All domain registrations and renewals are final. No refunds because we pay registry fees.
If there is a spelling mistake, contact us immediately to try to fix it.
Duration and Scope of Guarantee:
30-day money-back guarantee applies only to Shared Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Master Reseller Hosting, Alpha Reseller Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Email Hosting, All CMS Hosting, if cancellation is requested within 29 days.
Refund Case and Payback:
If you use Google Pay option for refund then you must ask for a refund within 2 days of order to get a chargeback; otherwise, you should have a cryptocurrency wallet where we will transfer your payment manually. Note that this may take 10 to 45 days, and you cannot emotionally or legally force our customer support. Otherwise, your refund will be canceled as well as your hosting account, and you will not be eligible for both refund or services.
Guarantee period starts on account order date.
Custom plans or services made specially for clients are not refundable.
Late Invoices:
No invoice extensions given.
Pay invoices on due date or account will be suspended.
Late payments add 10% to 25% daily fee to reactivate.
Invoices unpaid for 2 days lead to account termination.
We try to notify 24 hours before termination.
After termination, all data and backups are deleted and cannot be recovered.
We keep backups for 2 days after suspension for some hosting types.
Backups are only available for Web Hosting, WordPress, CMS Hosting, Managed Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Master Reseller Hosting, Alpha Reseller Hosting only; these may be available after termination within the first 2 days and may cost you based on storage like $2/1GB.
Recovery after suspension costs $10 including fees.

All packages have discounts for first-time buyers.
Renewals charged at regular price.
Best prices given for yearly, two-year, or three-year signups. Prices on website show best rates.
Non-Refundable Services Policy:
Services like Website Development, SEO, and others are not refundable. This includes all hosting types mentioned above.
